16.2MP Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor With Extra High Sensitivity Technology

The special sensor in your Sony Cyber-shot TX20 uses a unique back-illuminated technology that is twice as sensitive to light as the classic old CMOS sensors. Its maximized sensitivity gives you high quality images with very low noises, even when taken in an almost pitch black environment. The Extra High Sensitivity technology will be automatically activated when it's too dark, so now you can enjoy taking your pictures at maximum resolution.

4x Optical Zoom with 8x Clear Image Zoom

Now you can capture sharp and quality pictures of intricate details with the zoom lense. The camera will adjust the focal point by moving the optical lens back and forth, and your subjects will be enlarged without deterioration. Superior Auto Mode
