From small beginnings, HARIBO was founded in 1920 by Hans
Riegel, who started up shop in a house at Bergstrasse in Kessenich,
Bonn, Germany and where he set-up his first factory. The starting
capital was only a sack of sugar, a marble block, a stool, a brick
oven, a copper kettle and a roller.
Today, HARIBO sits on 27 hectare site at Innovationspark
Rheinland in Germany where it employees over 300 employees.
HARIBO is an innovative and future-orientated family
company with products that are enjoying growing demands in the
worldwide market it helped grow nearly 100 years ago.
