I used to buy this gula Melaka when I went there. Yesterday found out ,we can purchase it from Lazada. well this gula Melaka is very fragrant & not so sweet . I used them to make agar agar & put some for me red bean soup . It tasted very good . I used it for blended avocado , wow so yummy ! so far I find only this Madam Yap gula Melaka gives the best gula Melaka aroma & taste not so sweet. highly recommended. bubble wrap . Ordered on 18/10 & received it the next day ..Good service & keep it up ! \nno shipping fee & the price is the same as you bought them in Melaka.

not the gula melaka that I used to.. the aroma is more toffee like. it's melted a lil in the packet, it's soft to the core, I can even cut it with a butter knife. the mouthfeel and aroma is good when made into syrup.
