the item works and the suction cup seems to be strong enough to hold it. do more that this is not a mesh but really a plastic sheet printed to look like a mesh.

The measurement of 68cm (wide) is not the measurement of the shade but the steel bar, so the shade is of 1cm shorter. It does block out some light and offers some privacy.
