Hopefully this unit will be exactly like the AirTag. Basically it’s using Bluetooth to connect any iPhone devices to send n ping a signal , updates to iCloud findmy bout the location. I hv tested AirTag and detected my luggage bag in Dubai while touch down at Zurich. \nWill update once setup. \nIt’s using cr2032 battery and shall lasted a yr or 2. Once u pull the strip paper then will start the pairing.\n\nUpdate after using it. Paired it one iPhone 15. Seems ok BUT there re lack of security of the device itself bcos others iPhone nearby with Bluetooth can trigger and play a sound on the tag unlike the Apple AirTag which is secured once u paired with iPhone and Apple ID. other iPhone can also see the movement of this GP tag although u might not know the owner bcos it only show. GP AirTag.
