Frying eggs without oil does stick a bit, but I might need to improve my technique since I don’t often fry eggs without oil). Also, using it on a gas stove can easily scratch the body, and since it's white, it can stain more easily. The lid is flat, and the bottom is also flat, but since it’s a non-stick pot, the oil tends to gather in one spot when it's not hot enough.

The old pot was also from Carote, but since it was an older non-stick model, the coating wore off, so I needed a new one. I decided to get this brand again and discovered they now have a titanium coating, which is better than the old one. Even if the coating wears down, it's still safe for health, and it’s dishwasher-friendly. The pot looks great too. The lid seems to be made of silicone, which does a good job of sealing in heat and moisture.
