I had bought a faucet from a brand before, and after a year of use, the valve core was no longer smooth and felt a bit rough. I was thinking of getting a new one, but then I found out that I could replace the valve core. All I needed was a pair of needle-nose pliers and a suitable wrench. I removed the screws and clips from the old valve core and replaced it with a new one. Now the faucet switch feels smooth again, and the new valve core works great!
