I went ahead and got the largest size, which can hold a lot of stuff, so I can use it however I want. One minor thing is that the drainage hole isn't at the lowest point, so only the water near the hole drains out, not the water around the edges. I found that if I push down on the base a bit harder to make it more concave, it helps gather the water towards the drain.
