This is a very Good bargain for Geisha SOE. There is a distinct difference in taste between both processing method.

Had a bit of a rough time with this batch of beans. I poured out 18g and found several bad ones, but overall the experience was just okay. Found a total of 21g that weren't great. Not sure about the coffee quality, but it didn't really impress me this time.

This coffee has a very light roast and is quite mild in flavor. I used 18g of beans to make 36g of liquid, mixed with 200ml for an iced Americano. There’s just a hint of acidity in it. The selection of beans seems to have some inconsistencies, and it appears that there may be a mix of different types. Also, the roasting could be more even, as there are noticeable color variations in the beans. While I'm not a professional, I think there’s room for improvement in terms of quality control. I have tried other brands that I enjoyed more.

Whenever I think about enjoying a bubbly Americano, this is the coffee I want to get.

It's got a medium roast vibe, with a hint of grapefruit peel and a green tea flavor. The acidity is low, and after you sip it, you might find yourself salivating a bit.

I tried the coarse grind first, and it was low acid and not bitter at all, really smooth on the palate, although the sweetness wasn't super strong. For daily coffee supply, this is definitely my top pick!

The light roast doesn't have much flavor. When I used 18g of beans for 36g of liquid and made an iced Americano with 200ml, it had just a hint of acidity but not much else. There were some issues with quality control as I found a mix of different beans, about a third of them were off. The selection of beans also seemed subpar, with a fair number of broken or flawed beans. The roasting process appears uneven, as the beans in the same bag had varying colors. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it based on appearance and basic taste, especially compared to previous products from BOB, which were better.

I brew it using a pour-over method, so the filter paper should have caught most of the oils. The flavor is straightforward but enjoyable. I've tried similar coffees from Mingqian, George Captain, and Xiao Hai—only Mingqian gave me a distinct cherry note. Interestingly, that flavor wasn't mentioned on Xiao Hai's packaging. Overall, it's a solid choice for a daily drink.

the delivery is incredibly slow. took almost 1 month to receive. just be aware of this and order way before you need new beans. roasting is darker than medium light. beans seems visually ok. no label of the order/beans/roast date/details anywhere on the packaging so i hope they get the order right. doesnt have that gesha taste, but still good beans (if not over roasted)\n\nhighly sus.

The beans from April 7 were opened today, April 20. Right when I opened them, there was a strong aroma of alcohol, and the first sip of the hot Americano had a prominent boozy flavor. I'll enjoy a few more cups later and see how it goes.
