It was very well protected n packed. Arrived in pristine condition. \n\nCompared to my Barbantia dustbin, the material of this one feels a little less solid but given the pricing difference I think it is acceptable. One thing to take note of, the cover swings open quite “violently” if you step on the pedal hard. It will over swing n hit the back wall if you place the dustbin very close against the wall. The solution is to step on the pedal softer or place the dustbin in a bit further from the wall
