Item arrived in excellent packaging. Inside cardboard box, there is foam holding the clock. Though it is metal, the clock is not super heavy so if hang up and touch wood, if it falls, it is not going to seriously injure someone. Super easy to install. I am not very handy but I could put it up following the instructions. However, the instructions are in Chinese so some translation is necessary. The pack comes with 3 different nail/screw or hook already so you don't need to buy that. The wood part is walnut colour so the brown is a bit on the darker side.
