VT-871 is a red colour, all purpose, permanent high strength threadlocker formulated for locking and sealing of threaded fasteners which require normal disassembly with standard hand tools. It cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces. It locks bolts and nuts up to 25mm diameter, preventing loosening due to vibration, and sealing against leakage and corrosion. It is designed to withstand heavy stock, vibration, or extreme chemical or environment conditionsApplications:It eliminates double nutting and/or welding of critical assemblies. Ideal for applications that will not require periodic disassembly. It is suitable for assembly with air tools, cylinder block bolts, ring gear bolts, transmission shaft bolts, pump and motor.
