I spent a couple hours building this shelf thinking it would be fine despite the metal sheets and frame being quite thin. However, once I was done I realized the design is faulty as it’s missing cross braces to prevent the shelf from twisting in all directions. All it needed was some additional long flat frame pieces that can be used as cross braces to place in “X” forms on all 4 sides to prevent the shelf from twisting and falling when weight is placed on top. As is it’s very poorly constructed and will not withstand any weight placed on top at all.
