INITER 30inch Travel Guitar IGL-15 Mahogany wood small guitar Suitable for beginners with truss rod

It may look like a toy guitar, sound like a toy guitar (guitarlele) and feel like a toy guitar at first, but once you change out the strings, stretch 'em and start strummin', it's on a whole new level. Not quite next level, but for the price, you get a decent instrument built from acceptable tonewoods, with a finger-friendly low-action fretboard and smooth open back tuners. The secret to getting a decent performance out of this: heavy strings and high tuning!

Didn't know what to expect despite the impressive video featured as a product promo. But it's basically a ukelele (\"guitarlele\") with a bigger body, fretboard and two extra strings. The strings it comes with are not top-notch so tuning was a problem initially. But once up to pitch, the instrument sounded decent, though it's as a kid/toddler's first guitar that it excels as the short scale means less string tension and easier, less painful fretting, even with steel strings. The instrument seems well made, with no visible flaws, and the inclusion of a truss rod allows for neck adjustment. The open back tuners are also of an acceptable quality. Slap on some Elixir strings, stretch 'em a bit, tune up and your kid is good to go!
