Very well made lamp. Hard, tough plastics used. I'm not sure about the quality of other lamps that looks very similar to this at a much cheaper price but this is a proper, quality Smiling Shark product. Hex screws used. The hook looks flimsy but in reality it's not. And it's ball joint hook. There's 4 levels of brightness and 4 different colour temperatures. It's lighting capability is just amazing. However, there's 2 areas of improvement. 1. the magnets could be stronger. This unit is quite hefty. 2. the hinge should be more rigid; it can't fully hold it's position. This is also due to its weight presumably from it's large battery\n\nUpdate: used it on a camping trip. Endurance was strong. Felt like I didn't fully use it out to the max which is a good thing. Powered it up to max brightness in natural colour for about one hour for cooking. It really lit up a large area when placed about 7 feet above ground. Then the next 4 hours in min brightness in warm colour. Not even a drop in the battery level indicator. Very Happy with its performance
