It captures UFAs that can reduce the skin’s barrier function, causing dryness and roughness, under certain conditions of the skin. Instead of removing all sebum, this technology quickly and continuously traps UFAs1 in the sebum composition. The trapping veil forms a sponge-like structure when it interacts with UFAs. This suppresses their mobility and interferes their permeation into the skin.
