Good workmanship, of standard hiking stick quality. it's as light as those in the market but the plus point is the cork handle. it's good for sweat absorption and in wet conditions, it still offers pretty decent grip. \n\nwhat i like about this stick is the orange coloured lining. in the thick of greenery, if misplaced, you can still see it sticking out like a beacon. \n\nthe set comes with a metal tipped foot. if you are on hard pavement, you can screw on the rubber foot grip. there's also s mud funnel for use in muddy conditions.\n\nif a miniature compass is embedded in the top of the handle, it will be perfect. \n\nall said, it is as compact as claimed. you could just stick it into your travel bag without taking up so much space.
