The Evin Air-Chamber Plus with Air-View (also known as the AeroChamber Plus Flow-Vu) is an anti-static valved holding chamber (VHC). It is used alongside a metered-dose inhaler (puffer) to help medication reach the lungs more effectively while reducing the amount that gets trapped in the throat.1.How to Use the DevicePrepare: Remove the caps from both the inhaler and the chamber's mouthpiece. Shake the inhaler and insert it firmly into the flexible back piece of the spacer.2.Seal: Place the chamber mouthpiece between your teeth and close your lips tightly around it to form a proper seal.3.Check Indicator: Watch the Flow-Vu (Air-View) indicator. It is a visual flap that will only move if you have a proper seal and are inhaling correctly.4.Deliver Medication: Breathe out gently through the chamber. Press the inhaler once at the beginning of a slow, deep breath.5.Inhale & Hold: Take one slow, deep breath over 3 to 5 seconds, and hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds (or as long as comfortable). If a whistling sound is heard, you are breathing in too quickly.(Alternative Method: For those who cannot hold their breath easily, keep the lips sealed on the mouthpiece and take 4 to 6 slow, normal breaths).Cleaning & MaintenanceDaily/Regular Rinse: Soak the parts for 15 minutes in warm water with mild dish soap, gently swish, and rinse well.Air Dry: Shake off excess water and allow the chamber to air dry completely in a vertical position.
