Shimano Disc Brake Rotor SM-RT66 SLX Deore 160mm 180mm 203mm

The Shimano SM-RT66 is a widely used, high-reliability, 6-bolt disc brake rotor, often positioned as a "workhorse" component. Because you run a specialized bicycle workshop, you likely value its consistent performance and compatibility with diverse setups.### Key Specifications * Mounting Standard: 6-Bolt (ISO). * Material: Stainless steel (one-piece construction). * Pad Compatibility: Fully compatible with both resin (organic) and metal (sintered) pads. * Available Sizes: 160 mm, 180 mm, 203 mm, and 220 mm. * Included Hardware: Each rotor comes with 6 mounting bolts and 3 anti-loosening plates.### Professional Workshop Notes * Anti-Loosen Plates: Ensure you always use the included plates. They are designed to fold over the bolt heads, preventing them from backing out due to vibration or heavy braking—a common issue on bikes that see aggressive trail use. * Reliability: Unlike the higher-end RT86 or RT900 series, the RT66 does not feature "Ice-Tech" cooling fins or sandwich construction. While this means it doesn't offer the same heat management as the premium lines, it is significantly more durable and easier to true if bent, making it an excellent recommendation for customers who prioritize longevity and low maintenance over absolute weight savings. * Compatibility: This rotor is versatile enough for almost any 6-bolt hub, ranging from modern trail/enduro MTBs to gravel rigs and commuters. It is a frequent choice for workshop inventory due to its compatibility with almost all Shimano hydraulic and mechanical disc brake systems.
