The SUNSUN HW-3000 is a high-capacity external canister filter designed for aquariums approximately 3 ft to 6 ft. It combines variable frequency pump control, multi-stage filtration, timed UV sterilization and surface skimming in one system.The pump provides 6 adjustable operating levels, allowing the user to control flow according to aquarium size and circulation requirements. Flow rate ranges from 1200 L/H to 3000 L/H, with power consumption from 10W to 30W and a maximum head height of up to 2.5 m.A built-in digital control panel allows direct adjustment of pump speed and UV operating time. The display shows pump level, UV timer status and operating information. The built-in 9W UV lamp can be scheduled according to filtration requirements and helps inhibit harmful microorganisms and free-floating algae passing through the system. UV sterilization is one of the most effective solutions for green water problems, as it targets suspended algae in the water column. Under suitable filtration and circulation conditions, noticeable improvement in green water can often be seen within approximately 2–3 days.The HW-3000 uses a large multi-layer filter basket design, providing flexible space for mechanical, biological and chemical filter media. The standard set includes 4 white filter pads, while additional media such as ceramic rings, biological media or adsorption media can be arranged according to individual aquarium needs.An integrated surface skimmer helps remove floating oil film, dust and organic residue from the water surface. The upper and lower intake ratio can be adjusted to balance surface skimming and normal water intake.The telescopic inlet pipe allows the intake height to be adjusted for different aquarium depths, while the outlet system supports multiple flow configurations including spray bar circulation.The pump rotor uses a ceramic shaft and permanent-magnet rotor for improved wear resistance and stable operation.
