The rubber has strong stretchability, you need to soak and stretch it before installation to wrap tightly around the wheel.Product DescriptionThese band saw rubber tires are ideal replacement accessories for aged, cracked or worn original wheel rubber sleeves. Constructed from solid elastic rubber, they deliver outstanding wear resistance, anti-slip performance and noise reduction, making your band saw run more smoothly and steadily during wood cutting work.We supply 5 standard sizes covering 8, 9, 10, 12, 14-inch band saw wheels to fit most household and industrial woodworking band saws. After proper soaking and stretching following the installation steps below, the tire can be tightly fixed on the wheel without slipping during high-speed operation.Step-by-Step Installation Instructions Soak the rubber tire in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes to soften the rubber and boost stretchability. Uniform stretching is critical for smooth installation. Two stretching methods for your choice:Method 1: Place the tire on a cylindrical object and stretch it evenly all around.Method 2: Step one end of the tire with your foot, pull the other end hard by hand, rotate the rubber ring continuously while stretching to make it evenly expanded. After full stretching, slowly wrap the softened rubber tire around the band saw wheel with a screwdriver for auxiliary pushing.Note: The rubber tire feels stiff and inelastic at first sight, this is only surface feeling. The rubber has great ductility, it can fully wrap the band saw wheel after hot water soaking and stretching, please rest assured.
